This is my nail polish rack. I’m sorry the quality is terrible, I took it with my cell phone. I can do a nail polish collection post with the names of everything I currently own. There are probably some in that picture that I no longer have, I took it about a month ago. I have a purple polish problem.

On sale is great - drug store nail polish is fantastic. The new Maybelline New York Color Show polishes are excellent and affordable (about $3 depending where you live), so I really recommend those. I also love the Wet n Wild Megalast line and one of the beauty gurus on youTube that I follow, Julie G, has a line at Rite Aid which are also very reasonable and have great reviews. Of course the Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear polishes are about $2.50 where I live at Walgreens and are excellent buys. There are good finds everywhere, not just top-of-the-line brands. :)

I started my collection last August after I finally quit biting my nails for good after doing so my whole life. I work a full time job (I’ll be 25 in a few weeks) and actually haven’t purchased any in over a month. From October-February I bought WAY too much and once I was able to calm myself down (haha) I have kept it to a reasonable amount since then. One of my favorite websites for discount nail polish is 8ty8beauty.com - they have China Glaze, Orly, Color Club and others for half the price. There’s also transdesign.com which is a similar concept. Also I follow Zoya on Twitter because everyone few months they have a great sale where if you buy 2 colors, you only pay for shipping, but it’s usually a 24 hour sale that’s only announced on Twitter. I have several high-end polishes (butter LONDON, Deborah Lippmann and two from Chanel) but I figure I am the one that goes to work, so if I want to splurge then that’s my choice. I will post a picture of the rack!

I do own a ton - well over 100. I have a nail polish rack that holds 90 on my wall and it is completely filled. Then my “overflow” is in a desk drawer and I have probably 15 or so bottles there. There have been many that I’ve gotten rid of as well, either dried up or just realized looked awful against my skin. I do own a ton though, it’s a problem. :)
